Talent Land España 2025: how AI is really being applied, seen from Málaga

From December 4 to 6, Málaga became the meeting point for talent and technology with Talent Land España 2025. We stopped by the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos (FYCMA) to see one thing in particular: how artificial intelligence is really being applied in the sector, beyond the noise.

What Talent Land España is

Talent Land landed in Málaga with around 17,000 attendees and an agenda split into four big areas: business and investment, creativity, science, and cybersecurity and development. Three days of talks, workshops and networking with professionals, students, founders and tech companies.

Why we went

We went to catch talks, do some networking and, above all, to look closely at how companies are bringing AI into their real day-to-day. We care less about the theory and more about what is already working inside a business.

What we took away

Really good conversations. One of our favourites was with Daniel Cañete, creator and host of the Génesis 2:24 podcast, who told us how he is applying AI to his production: from preparing content to organising and making the most of everything that gets generated around each episode. That is exactly the point that matters to us: not AI as a headline, but AI built into everyday work.

We also crossed paths with David Marchante, PowerExplosive, a reference in evidence-based training in Spanish and a huge example of turning content into an educational and business project that lasts for years. Seeing him up close confirms something we repeat a lot: behind what lasts there is a system, not luck.

The overall feeling was that: there is a lot of interest and plenty of people already experimenting, but the gap between 'sounds good' and 'I have it running in my business' is still wide. And that is where an SME really gains or loses time.

And there was a moment that deserves its own article

Talent Land also gave us an encounter we would rather tell separately, with its own story. We will cover it in the next post.
